Saint Leo University SPIRIT.SAINTLEO.EDU 23 After graduating from Saint Leo College with a degree in business administration, Colonel Richard W. “Dick” Johnson ’68 joined the U.S. Marine Corps and attended Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA. He served in Vietnam and completed a stateside tour at Camp Pendleton (CA), continued his military career in the Marine Corps Forces Reserve, and retired after 38 years of service. In 1977, he joined Smith Barney Harris Upham & Co. (now Morgan Stanley) and provided individuals, families, and businesses with financial advice for more than 35 years. He is a senior member and first vice president of Wealth Management for The Johnson Tamney Group at Morgan Stanley. He and his wife, Karen, live in Lakeland, FL. They have two grown daughters and four grandsons. Joseph “Joe” McGee is executive vice president of Strategic Planning and Development for Jabil, Inc. A manufacturing solutions company, Jabil provides design, production, and aftermarket product management services to global electronics and technology companies. He joined Jabil as a business unit manager and rose through the ranks as a director of Business Development, vice president of Global Business Units, and senior vice president of Business Management and Development. He earned a BSc in mechanical engineering from the University of Strathclyde (Scotland), an MBA from the University of Glasgow, and a PhD in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics from the University of Strathclyde. He is a member of the Tampa Bay Partnership Board of Governors and board member for the USS Victory Ship – Mariners Memorial Museum. He lives in Tampa, FL, with his wife and children. Zenith Taylor ’88 earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Saint Leo College before earning her Juris Doctor from Howard University (DC) School of Law. A solo practitioner, she is an attorney specializing in family and elder law. She has a passion for serving her community and upholding the standards and integrity of the law for the good of society, regardless of her clients’ financial means. A member of the New York State Bar, she is president of the Catholic Lawyers Guild of Queens County (NY) and past president of the Queens County Women’s Bar Association. She is also a past member of the House of Delegates for the New York State Bar Association. She lives in Rockville Centre, NY, with her daughter, Olivia. After graduating from Saint Leo College, John View ’72 went on to earn his master’s degree in educational administration and leadership from Notre Dame. He is the director of Educational Opportunity Program/ Financial Aid Compliance at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). For more than 35 years, he has served on numerous state, regional, and national financial aid professional boards and is considered a leader in the field. He also serves SUNY ESF as the men’s and women’s cross country/track and field head coach. He was named USCAA 2014 Coach of the Year. He has two grown children and a granddaughter. He and his wife, Lorraine Schunck, live in Jamesville, NY.
