Assembling Each Panel steps STITCHING TOTE BAG TOGETHER a b Row #3 Row #2 Once you have embroidered all of your blocks, arrange them in order before you begin stitching them together. ‘DOODLE BLOCK-1 and ‘DOODLE BLOCK-2’ can be used in any order to make the front and back panel of the tote bag. Note: Lay the front and back panels separately. c d Using your sewing machine, straight stitch the blocks together using a 1/2” seam allowance. Place the first block on top of the second, right sides together, lining up the placement stitches. Pin in place. Row #3 Attach rows #2 and #3 of the front panel in the same manner as you did for row #1. Then, stitch all three separate rows together using the 1/2” seam allowance. The back panel of the tote bag will be stitched together the exact same way as the front panel. e Row #1 Row #1 Once your front and back panels are complete, continue to stitch both side panels and bottom panel together as shown in step E.
