17 UNC CHARLOTTE | J U N I O R YEAR Attending the Career Fair BY CAITLIN CAREY, NEW STUDENT AND FAMILY SERVICES Career fairs are events where you can meet with employers in an informal setting. While going from booth to booth and meeting with employers, you learn more about job, internship and graduate school opportunities offered by a variety of companies, government agencies, universities and organizations. Some career fairs pertain to a certain college or major, but most are generally open to students from any program or field of interest.
