STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS G H Fold the fabric in half pulling the bottom up towards the top. I J Line the bottom left corner of the fabric to the top right corner of the center marked on the stabilizer. K L Run the embroidery steps of the design until you reach your first appliqué. Designs have different arrangements of steps, refer to the Design Steps page for information on each additional design. To stitch our design we used a piece of fabric from a fat quarter bundle that measured out to 18.0” x 22.0”. Note: we reccomend using a fusible backing when stitching out the larger Blissful Africana designs, as they are stitch intensive. Fold once more, from left to right, so that the innermost fold is in the bottom left corner. Carefully unfold your fabric, using your marked lines as a guideline so that the fabric is perfectly centered in the hoop. Press into the adhesive of the stabilizer so that it stays nice and taut.
