13 Transferring Using a Macintosh Operating System Return to the main folder which showed all of the available files on the CD. We will get to our design by double-clicking on the Design Files folder. You will see a list of folders containing different formats. Locate the format your machine uses and double-click to open that folder. For this example we’ll use the brother- babylock-pes files. Within this folder are all of the design files in the .PES format. Locate the design you want to use - in this case, AVIARY2. Insert your USB stick into your computer. The USB stick will appear on your desktop - the icon will look something like this. Double click to open the USB stick folder. Position both windows side by side so you can see the files on the CD and where you’ll be transferring them to on the USB stick.
