ACCESS / Digitizing Although the color palettes may be beautiful, it is always best to test out multiple styles to find just the right look. Our creative department manager decides on the colors of the design and chooses fabric for the collection. The manager may go through a dozen different color variations for the prototype before making a decision. Once the colors and fabrics are decided, we stitch out the rest of the designs in that collection. This is where we do a quality check for errors and decide whether there are any changes needed to the designs. There have even been a few times when we changed our minds halfway through and had to start from scratch. Once all of the designs in a collection are stitched, we give the sew-outs to our creative department and start working on the actual project for the collection. After we create the first project, twenty more samples are created for each of our educators. These samples then travel with our educators to be shown at our embroidery parties. Above are a few of the prototypes we created for this particular collection.
