THE FLORIDA ORCHESTRA | 2017-2018 TFO Family Concerts: The Science of Sound Sound Family Concerts are short introductions to the sections of the orchestra for children ages PreK-2nd grade. “The Science of
Sound” will explore the French horn, a member of the brass family,
while giving children a lesson in how sound works – high and low,
loud and soft, and more.
Before each performance, TFO will provide a variety of
interactive preconcert activities, including the popular
North Suncoast Associates Instrument Petting Zoo, arts
and crafts activities, and activities that will help children
understand the science behind sound.
