SEBRING SODA FEST
It's sure to be a fizzy
fun-filled time!
HAPPENING APRIL 6–7

Council (TDC) and the Greater Sebring Chamber
of Commerce are proudly partnering together
to coordinate, promote and host the very first Sebring
Soda Festival on April 6–7. The festival, which will be a
celebration of craft sodas and good-old fashioned fun
in historic Downtown Sebring, will be modeled after the
Homer Soda Festival in Illinois that draws thousands of
people to the 628-acre village of Homer, which is 140
miles south of Chicago.
"Looking closely at the success of the Illinois event,
and combining that with the classic layout of Downtown
Sebring, I think the Sebring Soda Festival could become
one of the area’s most popular events very quickly,"
— TDC Chairman Don Elwell.
Sebring Soda and Ice Cream Works owner,
Jeff Kennedy, approached the TDC about the
event last year in an effort to develop a
fun-filled festival in Downtown Sebring.
"The Chamber is excited to be the coordinating
organization for this exciting community event.
We see this as an opportunity to give local businesses
a chance to capitalize on the event traffic by having a
pop-up storefront at the festival and providing additional
business exposure for valued Chamber members," said
Chamber President & CEO Liz Barber. "We also plan to
partner with our local non-profit organizations to allow
an opportunity for marketing & community relations at
no charge, all while offering a family-friendly event that
will showcase our quaint downtown district."
