In 2009, LATINA Style, Inc. launched the LATINA Style Corporate Executive of
the Year program with the mission of highlighting individual Latina achievement
in the corporate arena. Each year LATINA Style, Inc. recognizes the hard work
and dedication Latinas are performing at the top of their respective companies
and in various industries. This year LATINA Style received hundreds of nominations
from across the country and 10 finalists were selected for the opportunity to be
named the Corporate Latina Executive of the Year. Each Latina has been nominated
and recognized based on their excellence in business impact, contribution to the
development of their company, corporate leadership, mentorship, and dedication
to working with their communities both locally and nationally. The winner of the
LATINA Style Corporate Executive of the Year Award for 2017 will be announced
at the LATINA Style 50 Awards and Diversity Leaders Conference on February 8th,
2018 in Washington D.C.
Maria Eduarda Kertesz

Johnson & Johnson
Maria Eduarda Kertesz (known as Duda Kertesz),
is the President of U.S. HealthE for Johnson &
Johnson Consumer Products, responsible for the
Oral Care, Wound Care and Baby care businesses,
totaling more than $1.5 billion. With more than 19
years of experience at Johnson & Johnson, Kertesz has
worked across a range of different consumer brands
- in Baby, Beauty, Sanitary Protection, Oral Care,
Wound Care and OTC (over the counter medicines),
with extensive experience in both local general
management as well as global franchise roles. She
has led a broad range of business situations such as
turn-arounds, startups, acquisitions and divestitures.
Previously, in her role as Managing Director,
Johnson & Johnson Consumer for Brazil, she led
an organization-wide transformation to accelerate
growth and competitiveness. This resulted in
achieving 80 percent growth in sales in 2010
resulting in $1 billion in incremental net sales. She
has received multiple awards including top 10 women
in business in Brazil twice and one of the 15
most powerful women in Brazil by Forbes
magazine in 2015. Most recently, she received
the 2017 Luminary Award by the Healthcare
Businesswomen’s Association.
Sandra Rivera

Intel Corporation
Sandra Rivera is a Senior Vice President and
General Manager for Intel Corporation.
With over 30+ years of experience in the
communications networking industry, Rivera
began her career as an engineer in both
established and start-up companies. Later, as
an entrepreneur, she co-founded her own
company, The CTI Authority, to deliver integrated
computer telephony solutions to the market.
Rivera was a leader in the North American
sales organization for Dialogic, which following
an acquisition brought her to Intel’s doorstep in
2000. She has worked for Intel Corporation for
the past 17 years and currently leads a global
organization at Intel with more than 2,200
employees, driving the transformation of network
infrastructure to standards-based solutions. Rivera
is a mentor through the Network of Executive
Women and the Intel Hispanic Leadership Council
and is a Board member of several telecommunications
industry forums and networking open source
projects. In 2015, she was recognized as Intel’s
Working Mother of the Year.
