Two Nixa students’ ceramic pieces
were chosen for the National Ceramic
Exhibition in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
which is held at the same time as
the National Council on Education for
the Ceramic Arts conference, the largest
ceramic education conference in the
world. The two pieces will be on display
March 14-16. Of over 1,200 pieces
entered, these are two of the 150 chosen
from around the country.

national exhibition
Megan Johnson’s photography students Kylie Garrett, Samantha
Baker and Claudia O’Steen at Nixa High School had a total of seven
photographs chosen to be part of the Juried Exhibition for High School
Students hosted at the May Gallery of Webster University. Only 50 photographs
are chosen to exhibit in the gallery. Nixa will represent nearly
