IMSA CONTINENTAL TIRE
SPORTSCAR CHALLENGE
The IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge features sports cars
from worldwide manufacturers, straight from the showroom floor,
raced side-by-side with only minor modifications. The Continental
Tire Challenge has three different classes:
CLASS SPECIFICATIONS
GRAND SPORT (GS)
Manufacturer based on
customer efforts
2,866 lbs | 520 hp | 175 mph
Grand Sport (GS) class will feature cars that follow the global
SRO-GT4 specification alongside select “grandfathered” vehicles
following the “home-built” formula from year’s past.
TOURING CAR (TCR)
TCR Homologated Cars with
minor modifications
2,470 lbs | 300-350 hp | 140+ mph
The TCR class will feature production model touring cars
found globally. Competition equalized by a variety of fuel-tank
capacities, power and weight.

STREET TUNER (ST)
Production models with
minor modifications
2,470 lbs | 220-280 hp | 155 mph
The ST class cars remain the stock, production model cars that
race with minor modifications only. This class is also limited to
four and six cylinder engines only.
