Loading And Unloading A Flatbed Trailer
Please note that there are variables that may affect slide-in ramp load capacity
such as length of equipment loaded; speed of loading equipment; track vs.
wheeled equipment; speed of the equipment transferred via the slide-in ramp, etc.
Also, note that if the operator of the slide-in ramps approaches maximum load
capacity certain preventative measures should be taken. These measures include
but are not limited to “blocking” in
order to help support the center of the slide-in ramps. For questions or concerns,

6.2 RAMP OPTIONS
Your flatbed trailer can be equipped with one of several different ramp options:
Fold down ramps.
Mesh ramps
Removable ramps.
! WARNING
Unsecured ramps can create a driving hazard.
Secure ramps in their storage or travel position before towing
trailer.
! CAUTION
Ramps are NOT RATED for load bearing capacity. They will NOT
support the load bearing capacity of the trailer.
Do not overload the ramps.
