Duette Preserve is
home to a variety of
beautiful wildowers.
Throughout the year
beautiful purples, pinks,
blues, whites, oranges,
yellows, reds and even
greens pop up among
the pine trees and saw
palmettos.
The photos on these
pages were compiled
as part of the Duette
Preserve Wildower
project in 2013,
conducted by Intern
Sierra Lauck as her nal
project for her internship
with Manatee County’s
Parks and Natural
Resources Department.
This collection of photos
was taken over a 5
month time frame from
June until October at
Duette Preserve by
PNRD volunteers and
staff.
