are all regular features of this small friendly town.
Rich Mountain Battlefield & Heritage Center – One of the
first Civil War engagements was fought here.
Historic Elkins – Historical homes and buildings, art
exhibitions, gift shops, great dining and a friendly shopping
district make up the core of Elkins.
Elkins Raceway – Born out of Moonshine running, stock
car racing is a passion for many at the local dirt track. Just
outside of Elkins on Rt. 219 north.
Monongahela National Forest – Nestled in the Appalachian
Mountains of West Virginia, Randolph County is a natural
paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.
Health Trail – A 25 mile trail follows farmland and wilderness.
Relax your soul beside the river, in our campgrounds or
picnic areas. A wonderful health food store in downtown
Elkins is also worth the stop.
Areas to Experience – includes Dolly Sods Wilderness area,
Spruce Knob (the highest elevation in WV), Helvetia Swiss
Village and Seneca Rocks.
