The 37th Annual Great Trails Arts and Crafts Festival
will take place on August 25 and 26, and September
1, 2, and 3, 2018, at 6331 Canton Road, Malvern,
OH. Hours are from 10 AM - 5 PM daily. Admission
is $6 for adults, $4 for youth (10-18), with children
under 10 free (when accompanied by an adult).
Take advantage of all that is offered. Listen to
music from Appalachian musicians, Scottish Pipers
Shop at the 18th century marketplace where you

erwork, pottery, and primitive folk art, as well as

pers and blanket traders. Watch demonstrations of
old-fashioned soap and candle making, woodworking,
instrument making, and demonstrations by both silversmiths
and blacksmiths. Then watch the State of
Ohio Tomahawk Throwing Championship, which will
take place on Monday, September 3, starting at 1 PM.

bread, hot apple dumplings, funnel cakes, copper
kettle popcorn, roasted almonds, homemade
nut and pumpkin rolls, trail bologna and more.
Flag Raising Parade with Bag Pipers
The setting for the festival is reminiscent of the
camps that were made along the Great Trail during
the American Revolution. It is complete with open
America buffalo in Carroll County since the late
18th century. Step back in time for a few hours and
savor the sights and sounds of these by-gone days.
