DAVID M. JENKINS (Direction and
Sound) is the Producing Artistic Director
and a co-founder of Jobsite. He holds a Ph.D.
in Communication (Performance Studies)
from the University of South Florida, an
M.F.A. in Acting from the University of
Florida, and a B.A. in Theater Performance,
also from USF. He has additionally studied
with Moscow State University, the Russian
Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) and the
San Francisco Mime Troupe. In addition
to his full-time work for Jobsite, David
teaches in the Honors College at USF
as an adjunct instructor. He has recently
directed productions of HIR, The Tempest,
The Threepenny Opera, Gloucester Blue
and As You Like It for Jobsite as well as
Annie Baker’s The Aliens for Stageworks
Theatre. He has been recently seen in 1984
(O’Brien), Cloud Nine (Betty/Edward),
A Skull in Connemara (Tom Hanlon), and
Time Stands Still (James). He was the 2017
Theatre Tampa Bay Outstanding Director,
and in 2014 was the recipient of the Best
Director Award from Creative Loa ng’s
Reader’s Poll and Best Director of a Musical
in the BroadwayWorld Tampa Regional
Awards. He also won the 2017 Outstanding
Featured Actor (A Skull in Connemara)
and the 2015 BroadwayWorld Regional
Award for Best Actor (Times Stands Still).
Creative Loa ng has twice honored him
as both Best Artistic Director and Best
Actor. David has published articles in the
scholarly journals Text & Performance
Quarterly, Liminalities, and Departures in
Critical Qualitative Research. He lives in
Tampa Heights in a neat old house with his
rad wife and a mess of critters.
JO AVERILL-SNELL (Lighting Designer)
is delighted to light Dancing at Lughnasa.
Jobsite’s audiences saw her design work in
Cloud Nine last summer, and she is looking
forward to lighting Edgar & Emily this
fall. She has also recently designed The
Aliens, Broadway Bound, This Wonderful
Life, and The Motherfucker with the Hat
at Stageworks, as well as View from the

Bridge, The Other Place, Silent Sky and
The Children’s Hour for Tampa Rep and
a variety of dance concerts and other
work at HCC. Jo is also the Artistic
Director for literary performance troupe
Improbable Athenaeum. She is a graduate
of USF’s theater program, and lives in
Seminole Heights with husband (and actor/
playwright) Ned, daughter Brigid, and
many small mammals.
TEAH BANKS (Stage Manager) is
a Tampa native and graduate of the
University of South Florida with a double
Bachelors in Theater Arts and English/
Creative Writing. After college, she joined
Jobsite as an intern under the mentorship
of Matthew Ray for A Skull in Connemara
and has since been working regularly in the
local theater community, managing Tampa
Rep’s Gnit, Jobsite’s HIR rehearsals, and
assisted in the management of Jobsite’s
Gloucester Blue and The Flick. Most
recently, she had the honor of working with
Georgia Mallory Guy and Derrick Phillips
on the ground oor of their new company
ThinkTank Theatre for their rst production
of James and the Giant Peach. Theater is
Teah’s passion and she is very grateful to
Jobsite and David Jenkins for having faith
in her and being the launching point of her
dream career.
SAM EHRNMAN (Charge Artist) is a
recent graduate from the University of
South Florida with a degree in Theater
Design. She primarily works as a scenic
artist (recently providing work for Jobsite’s
1984, HIR and The Tempest) but lends
paint-covered hands in costuming, makeup
and scenic construction when needed. Her
work as a painter and printmaker can be

KRISTEN KOCHANIK GARZA (Scenic
Designer/Technical Director) is enjoying
her second season working with Jobsite.
Kristen has been involved with the
technical side of productions at Jobsite
since last June including Gloucester
Blue, The Flick, and, most recently as the
charge scenic artist for The Tempest. She
is the resident scenic designer at Chestnut
Street Playhouse, acting Props Master at
