The attitude behind allowing yourself and perhaps
someone who may be with you the occasion to
have something truly enjoyable such as a great
meal with friends or family is the root of indulgence.
A fixation and passion for something that captivates
your desires to the point you can’t wait to experience,

Exceptional food is available in the Savannah
area. Naturally, seafood abounds with so many
restaurants offering seafood. But what about steak?
Obviously port cities have access to fresh seafood,
but steak is generally thought to be more of a
mainland, Midwest American delicacy. The Local

beef found in the grocery store here. Corn fed beef
from the Midwest, Nebraska to be exact, is shipped
in. Some meat is also obtained from Hunter Cattle
Company in Brooklet, Georgia as well. The grade of
this steak is on a different level and is USDA Prime
on a scale of 6-8 unlike other places that buy a
cheaper grade of meat. The result is you may pay a

build much profit into it at all because its more about
the taste and the offering of an incredible steak than
anything else.
The steak you eat at The Local on 17 was set aside
over a month before you eat it and a meticulous dry
aging process is used to bring out the flavor and that
“cut it with a fork” tenderness. To our knowledge no
other restaurant in all of south Georgia has in-house
dry aged steaks like this!
Where can you get this steak? Answer: Just 13
miles south of Savannah which is a short drive (20
minutes, it’s easy) down I-95 to exit 94 in Richmond
Hill, Georgia. The place is a stone’s throw from the
exit and not hard to find at all, The building has an
old Ford automobile on display outside which, of
