ORRA’s recommendations for election to local political offices include
REALTOR® Eric Rollings and more proven pro-real estate candidates
When the polls open on August 28, vote REALTOR®! In addition to
supporting REALTOR® Eric Rollings for Orange County Commission,
District 3, ORRA has recommended the following candidates for election
to local office:
Orange County Mayor – Jerry Demings
Orange County Commission, District 2 – Fred Brummer
Orange County Commission, District 3 – REALTOR® Eric Rollings
Orange County Commission, District 4 – Susan Makowski
Orange County Commission District 6 – Victoria Siplin
Orange County Sheriff – John Mina
Seminole County Commission, District 2 – Jay Zembower
Seminole County Commission, District 4 – Amy Lockhart
Seminole County School Board, District 5 – Tina Calderone

ORRA will be recommending additional candidates prior to the August 28 election,
including those for Orange County School Board positions. Please visit
orlandorealtors.org, look for notices in the Orlando REALTOR® Online e-newsletter, and
follow us on social media before you head for the polls.
A primary function of the ORRA Governmental Affairs Committee is to screen candidates
running for public office and recommend for election those whom are sensitive to
issues related to real estate, homeownership, and private property rights.
Locally, members of the ORRA RPAC Candidate Screening Subcommittee consider
each candidate up for election based on his or her past voting record and/or empathy
to real estate issues. Candidates are invited to participate in a screening process and
interview before the subcommittee presents its candidate recommendations to the
ORRA Board of Directors for final approval.
ORRA-supported candidates who accept political action committee (PAC) funds are
eligible to receive contributions from the REALTORS® Political Action Committee for use
in their campaign.

as 2018-2019 president
of My Florida Regional
Multiple Listing Service. Mike is both a past
president of ORRA and a current member of
the ORRA Board of Directors (plus, he’s currently
running for 2019 secretary of Florida
REALTORS®).
McGraw explains that his objectives
during his term as MFRMLS president will
be to provide more services and benefits to
assist REALTORS® in their daily business. He
also points out that ORRA
members are welcome to
call or e-mail any of those
who represent ORRA’s
interests on the MFRMLS
Board of Directors and can
expect to have their questions
answered and issues
addressed.
