BATTLE FOR THE BRIDGE
HISTORIC PRESERVE
More than 200 acres of this nationally-important battlefield, along with the fields
of the Battle of Rowletts Station and the Skirmish of Woodsonville, are protected at
the Battle for the Bridge Preserve. Interpretive trails begin at the historic Anthony
Woodson House, which features an orientation area and museum exhibits. Listed
on the National Register of Historic Places. Access to the trail is free of charge and
is open dawn to dusk daily.
