Forest and known as the “Niagara of
the South,” the waterfall forms a 125
foot-wide cur tain that plunges 7 stories
into a boulder-strewn gorge. The best
oppor tunities to view the moonbow
over Cumberland Falls are during clear
evenings with a full moon. The
moonbow may also appear 2 evenings
before and after a full moon.
