Famous “Old Fort” built between 1672 and 1695 of
coquina (a local shell-rock material). Never captured,
it was the principal fortification that enabled Spain to
control Florida for 235 years. Now operated by the
National Park Service. Closed Christmas.

Fiesta Falls, our 18-hole miniature golf, is right next to
La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites. Open to the public and fun
for all ages; it’s an award winning landscaped course
featuring 8 waterfalls, caves, a 65 ft. Spanish ship and
a view of the ocean from the mountaintop gazebo. For
an extra challenge, play under the stars on the lighted
course. Located next to La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites,
one mile south of the St. Augustine Beach Pier.

Tour Henry Flagler’s masterpiece. Built between 1886
and 1888, the former Hotel Ponce de Leon was once one
of the grandest resorts of its time. Now reborn as Flagler
College, much of the original Spanish Renaissance architecture
and ornamentation have been restored.

A stone tower built between 1740 and 1742 to prevent
an attack on St. Augustine from Matanzas Inlet and the
Intracoastal Waterway, it became the most important
auxiliary fort to the city’s defense. Surrounded by a
298-acre park and beach. Closed Christmas.

Hands-on museum chronicling the history of St.
Augustine from pre-European times to 1845. Visitor
experiences include writing with real quill pens, operating
an old corn mill, playing 18th century games, working
on a Timucuan Indian canoe, petting rare breed animals
and other unique activities. Specialty school group tours
available.
