• Suncoast Trail - This 41.3-mile paved trail parallels the Suncoast
Parkway from Hernando to northern Hillsborough County. Opened in
2001, this scenic award-winning trail traverses agricultural, suburban
and natural areas and will serve as a regional connector trail, linking

• Withlacoochee State Trail - At 46 miles in length, the Withlacoochee
State Trail is presently the longest paved rail trail in Florida. Well

• Weekiwachee Preserve - This 11,206-acre preserve has numerous
walking trails within a mosaic of wildlife habitats. On the second
and fourth Saturdays of every month, visitors may drive in through the
Osowaw Boulevard gate and park at the end of the paved 1.3-mile
