Jukebox 4 is comprised of a group of national perfor mers
boasting incredible harmonies, infectious personas, and playful
choreography in a one-of-a-kind show that reimagines classic
jukebox hits, covering all genres of music. Jukebox 4 will take
you on a musical journey with new renditions of memorable
songs!
Coin operated music boxes were the original form of automated
musical devices. The 1940’s and 1950’s were considered the peak
of the jukebox usage. During that time, machines were elaborate
and flashy. The introduction of the 45-rpm record in the 1940’s
banished the early jukeboxes to the junkyard. The life of the 45-
rpm record began to decline during the 1980’s when jukeboxes
began to switch to CDs. The old jukebox machines are rarely seen
outside private collections today.
