Pets can help calm you when you’re
stressed, make you smile when you’re sad,
and are consoling when you just need a
moment of peace and a soft, furry coat to pet.
Harry Kalajian understands how much these
animals mean to us, and that’s why he started
Executive Dog Training, Inc. in Grove City, Florida
in 2014.
Originally from Montreal, Canada, he has more
than 32 years of experience. He learned the
trade from many French and English dog trainers
over the years, as well as several American
trainers.
In 2014, he moved to Englewood, Florida and
opened up a dog training school.
Harry believes the best time to train a dog is
when it is three months old.
“They are still forming habits at that time,” he
said. “After six months, I would have to remove
or deter certain behaviors and work on installing
new ones.”
Most of the clients he works with reside in
Boca Grande.
Julie Camp, the owner of the Pink Pony, has an
18-month-old giant Schnauzer named Schultzie.
She contacted Executive Dog Training when the
puppy was about three months old.
“My husband and I had seen his vehicle and
sign advertising the business in Boca Grande, and
I picked up one of his cards at the dog park,” Julie
said. “We are very happy with his services, and
he is always available for questions or concerns
we may have with Schultzie.”
Harry worked with Schultzie for about ten
weeks. He taught the dog to sit, stay, lie down and
heel.
“I haven’t seen him in about a year, and it looks
like he is doing very well,” Harry said while on a
refresher walk with Schultzie recently.
Dog trainer Harry Kalajian has been working with all
kinds of breeds of dogs for more than 32 years. He is
