Trim away the excess fabric. Leave a
seam allowance of at least 1/2" around
the outer edges of the design.
Once trimmed, the design will look something
like this. At this point, repeat steps A through
D to complete the remaining appliqué
steps, and follow the machine steps for
the remaining decorative embroidery.
Once you have completed all the appliqué
and decorative embroidery steps, the
design will look something like this.
Stop just before the design's final machine step.
