The next step is a tacking stitch. This
is a special tacking stitch, that will tack
intermittently around the design before
making it's final regular tacking stitch.
After tacking, trim away the excess
fabric around the tacking stitch.

Once trimmed, the design will look something
like this. Follow the machine steps to run any
remaining decorative embroidery stitches.

When trimming the extra
fabric, be sure to trim as
closely to the tacking line as
possible. This will ensure the
zig-zag outline does not show
excess fabric underneath.
