FOODIE HAVEN
St. Pete might have some of the best
beaches in the U.S., but standard
beach fare denitely doesn’t describe
the Sunshine City’s amazing
culinary scene. The city’s creative
chefs are denitely artists who keep
taking the food experience to the
next level. Restaurants run the gamut
from upscale dressy and ne dining
to sidewalk cafes, food trucks and
walk-up windows. Thanks to the city’s
great weather, there is outdoor dining
everywhere.
SAND AND SUN
The beach scene is always hopping
at great restaurants, waterfront Tiki
bars and hotels offering nightly
entertainment. Be in awe of picturepostcard
sunsets, while staying cool
with decadent frozen drinks. The
beach communities of Pass-A-Grille,
St. Pete Beach and more are known
for their laid-back ambience, Jimmy
Buffet-style. Let the sand get between
your toes as you enjoy a St.
Pete beach classic grouper sandwich,
fresh caught from the Gulf of Mexico.
CRAFT BEER, CRAFT COCKTAILS
There’s a national buzz over the
‘Burg’s reputation as the new hot
spot destination for both small independent
craft breweries and craft
artisan distilleries. Follow the craft
beer trail to more than two dozen
venues, where local brewmasters
add a unique Sunshine City twist to
their creations like Beach Blonde Ale
at 3 Daughters Brewery. Many of the
breweries also offer yoga classes,
open to the public, as well as family
friendly games. Don’t miss St. Pete’s
growing number of distilleries turning
out high quality, small batch spirits.
