Spotlight On Internships
Because of her distance, Jacobs relies on
The Naples Players staff and volunteers
to see through the set’s construction.
“I work closely with Technical Director
Mike Santos to bring my vision to life,”
she said.
“The volunteers are amazing,” Jacobs
adds. “They want to be there and they
love it. Having volunteers allows the theater
to accomplish much more than traditional
theaters.”
Jacobs typically works alongside The Naples
Players’ volunteers in set construction.
However, the design of White Christmas
has been bittersweet; she’s having
her first child this winter and won’t be
able to travel.
But don’t count Jacobs out. She plans to
return to The Naples Players in January to
work on Don’t Dress for Dinner.
