annual "Taste," a fundraising event to benefit the Harry
Chapin Food Bank in Fort Myers.

Garry Essendine, an aging, self-absorbed, London-based stage actor
finds himself in the midst of a mid-life crisis of
both a personal and career sort. He discovers
he must juggle his appetite for, and his disdain
of, his fawning admirers while under the
judgmental eyes of those men and women
(primarily women) who know and love him
best as he prepares for what he hopes will be
a “career-reviving” tour of Africa. Shows are at

18th Annual Boca Grande 5K Run & Walk

All are welcome to participate in an island run through historic Boca
Grande.
Start your run at the Boca Grande Community Center (on the
National Register of Historic Places), see beautiful views of Charlotte
Harbor, past the famous Gasparilla Inn, along scenic Gilchrist Avenue
(lined with palm trees) and finishes on Banyan Street (named for the
very large trees that line both sides of the street). Refreshments will
be available during the post race activities at the Community Center.
