Going Home
While we hope that your hospitalization is as pleasant as
possible, we know that going home will be the very best part of
your hospital stay. Our major goal is to provide quality care to
all of our patients.
There are, however, some regulations concerning your
dismissal to which we must adhere. Your physician will discuss
your release with you and will write a discharge order on your
chart. After you receive your discharge instructions, a hospital
volunteer or transporter will escort you to your transportation.
Please remember to take your personal belongings with you.
Patient Relations
At Meadows Regional Medical Center, our goal is to provide the
best service possible to all patients, families, and visitors. If
you have any comments, questions, concerns, or special needs
that you would like to discuss, please don’t hesitate to discuss
the matter with any staff person who is taking care of you. You
may also request to speak with the nursing director or nursing
supervisor by dialing “0”. Should you need further assistance,
you may request to speak with the patient relations coordinator.
