SEPTEMBER 16–20 - Home Builders Blitz
In an effort to bring awareness to the affordable housing crisis on Cape
Cod, this Fall more than 100 members of HBRACC will team up with
Habitat for Humanity to participate in their 4th “Home Builders Blitz”
(A “Blitz Build” is a home that is built in one week from frame to finish
then be sold to a qualifying family for $150,000).
The 2019 Blitz house, a two-story, three-bedroom Cape, will be one of
eight affordable homes being constructed in the second phase of a 14-home
subdivision, developed by Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, on Paul Hush
Way in Brewster. This event allows HBRACC members the opportunity to
showcase their talents while giving back to their community.

In memory of Sgt. Sean Gannon, the Yarmouth Police Foundation has embarked on a capital campaign to develop and
construct next-generation K-9 & Police Officer obstacle training facility and live-round training range to help keep police
officers and K-9’s safe. STRONGER SHIELD is providing the tools needed to improve the quality of life for everyone who works,
visits, or resides in Yarmouth and its surrounding towns.
Sand Dollar Customs is coordinating the provision of materials and/or labor to help build this facility. Go to
