After Columbus Day weekend - End of October: 6 AM-7 PM, contingent upon
weather. No gate staff after November 2.
Out of State Vehicle Entrance Fee: $15 /day or $40/season pass
Maine registered vehicles enter free of charge
Camping fees are per site with maximum capacities applying in each
case.
Campground Tent sites: $32/night
(max capacity 6 people unless otherwise noted to be 4)
Campground Lean-tos: $32/night
(max. capacity 4 unless otherwise noted)
Backcountry Individual outlying campsites:
$21/site (Pogy, Fowler Ponds, etc.)
Bunkhouse: $12 per person/night
Group Camping Areas: $8/person/night,
minimum $48/night

Baxter State Park is a

If it came into the park with you it
must leave the park with you. There
are no dumpsters/trashcans in the
park. Please be prepared and make
arrangements to take all trash with
you. Rangers can provide you with
trash bags.
Please do not burn trash. And please, please do not deposit trash
in the outhouses.
