With this project, the client’s goals were to create a transitional home with coastal influences,
and to make the space more livable for themselves and their five children. New flooring was
installed throughout to give the condo an instant style boost. In the main living areas and master
bedroom, a budget-friendly luxury vinyl planking was used because of its ability to provide a highend
appearance at a fraction of the cost. Floors are the foundation of your home, so it is a good idea
to keep them updated, clean, and consistent throughout your rooms. There are so many affordable
options to choose from, without sacrificing style. These floors look amazing and are durable, so this
is an area where you can really add some value to your home without busting your budget. Another
inexpensive, but effective way to change the look of a home is through paint. The entire condo was
painted in Sherwin Williams Agreeable Grey, with a few accent colors to create interest and a crisp
backdrop for the other upgrades.
Because the layout of the home needed some updates, we removed two sets of architectural
columns with arches to create a more open and contemporary floor plan. The extra space
allowed for a large island in the kitchen which encourages family and friends to gather
