The Red Wing Shoe store has been providing work and outdoor
footwear in the Bradenton-Sarasota area since 1981 and while
some things have changed in the last 38 years, some things never
will at Red Wing.
The one thing that hasn’t changed is the customer service that
the store provides in a time where self service is the norm. We
still measure each customer’s feet to ensure the proper fit to
the footwear and we assist the customer in the selection of the
product so that we know it will perform for the use they are going
to put it to.
The store was relocated three years ago to 3106 53rd Avenue
East (SR70), which is two blocks east of 301 and the selection
of footwear is incredible. The Bradenton store has the largest
selection of work footwear on the west coast of Florida, without
exception. The also carry a large assortment of wide widths as well
as hard to find narrow widths.
The store also provides a mobile shoe tore that stocks 900 pair of
safety footwear in the mobile store and goes to local industries
and events that local companies may offer their employees. It is a
great way for companies to offer a safety footwear program that
has a mobile service, but also has a brick and mortar store with
large on hand inventories to back each other up. This also allows
area companies to buy from a locally owned business as well,
which helps the local economy.
