Freaky Friday Fright Nite in Farragut
OCTOBER 25, 2019
Mayor Bob Leonard Park
5pm - 7pm
Freaky Friday is a free event, but participants are asked to bring items to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House.
Suggested donations: paper towels, Lysol Spray, individually wrapped snack items (i.e. peanuts, crackers, granola
bars, little Debbie-type treats, etc), to-go boxes, heavy duty paper plates, heavy-duty plastic cutlery, gift cards for gas
stations, gift cards to discount stores like Walmart, gift cards to grocery stores like Food City, home improvement
stores like Lowe’s, Home Depot or ACE Hardware, postage stamps, copy paper, k-cups for our Keurig machines,
coffee creamer, detergent, cans of air freshener, garbage bags in all sizes, especially kitchen size and including lawn
and leaf, hand pump soap, and bottles of hand sanitizer. Cash donations will also be accepted. Children ages 12
and under and in costume are invited to “trick or treat” on the walk trail while local businesses, community groups
and Town of Farragut volunteers hand out treats and provide games with prizes and cookie decorating.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families with critically ill children who are
being served by area hospitals. Since families receive services for free or at a nominal charge, the Ronald McDonald
House relies on community donations. Collection stations will be located next to the cookie decorating station off
the main parking lot on Watt Road and next to the entrance from the Harrison Lane parking lot.
