Stoll along our spectacular downtown
waterfront park with wide-open views
of Tampa Bay, then stop for coffee at
one of the many restaurants on Beach
Drive.
Spend late morning on the water—
kayaking in the mangroves at the
Weedon Island nature preserve,
paddleboarding in the protected
waters of Coffee Pot Bayou, or renting
an electric boat for a trip out into the
Bay.
Get out of the sun and take in an
afternoon of culture. Visit the city’s
many museums and art galleries, then
browse the unique indie shops for gifts
to take home.
In early evening, stroll down Central
Avenue and take your pick for dinner
from a dozen locally owned
independent cafes and bars.
Afterwards, listen to music at one of
the downtown clubs or sample "Made
in St. Pete" brews at one of the many
poplar craft breweries.
The next day make your way over to
the beach and spend the day looking
for shells on the award-winning white
sandy beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
