that point it was put in the garage.
We made several moves around the
country and ended up in Nashville at our
new horse farm. In 2001 we started to
work on the car only to keep the car
drivable but Dad was diagnosed with
Parkinson’s disease. In 2008 we thought
we would rebuild the engine but his
Parkinson’s got worse and at the point
needed I needed to spend time taking
care of the farm and the horses.
He passed away in 2014. It was then I
decided to get the car back to its original
condition.
CCWCF: It would seem that doing that might
have been a cathartic endeavor for you
and your family.
Kiernan: It really was. Not just cathartic for us but
our way of honoring his life.
CCWCF: Best of luck at the auction.
Kiernan: Thanks, we only have a 2 car garage at
the farm and with all of the attention on
the car, it was just time.
