E D I T O R ’ S N O T E
If there’s one thing this time
of quarantine has taught me,
it’s to be more appreciative for
family, friends, and all of the things
that make everyday life so beautiful—
and, frankly, just to appreciate what
makes things run smoothly. I bet
one thing we have all missed are the
businesses and services who we had
come to rely on. Now that we are
transitioning into the next phase of
our new normal, we wanted to take
a moment to celebrate the small
business owners who work hard for
our communities. As they open their
doors for business, they need our
support now more than ever.
In this special issue of Bham Family,
4 Bham Family June 2020
we talked to area business owners
about what they are doing now, and
we are proud to share their stories. I’m
sure you’ll appreciate the hard work
and thoughtfulness that these business
owners have put in place to be safe
during this transition time. In our
“Open for Business” special section,
you’ll learn about their offerings and
what new protocols are in place to
keep our communities safe as we all
get back to business.
