of Colts Neck, who was named the 2020 Mrs. New Jersey American
in the Mrs. America Pageant held earlier this year at the Mohegan
Sun in Connecticut.
This vivacious 29-year-old is married to Barton Henderson, originally of
Red Bank, and together the couple runs Henderson Promos in Red Bank. The
company produces thousands of promotional and novelty items and printed
If chosen as Mrs. America, she will travel the country promoting her plat-
hunger. It’s a big platform with a big schedule, but Henderson is ready.
The traveling part should be a breeze for this Mrs. New Jersey Ameri-
attendant at the age of 19, shortly after graduating from Colts Neck High
School. She got her associates degree from Brookdale Community College
before earning her bachelor’s degree from Boston University. She went on
to meet and marry
her husband, Barton,
and the two
have lived in many
places including
Hawaii, Massachusetts
and Washington,
D.C.

of numerous

formerly called the
Food Bank of Monmouth
and Ocean
Counties, as well
as Tigger House
Foundation, an organization dedicated to combatting drug addiction.
She is also the co-founder of “The Giving Back Forum,” an event that
one another, share resources and promote awareness for their causes.
Henderson’s excitement spills over when she talks about her
plans for the future, which she hopes includes grabbing the national
title, when the rescheduled pageant takes place in Las Vegas (the
date has yet to be determined). If she wins Mrs. American, she will
move on to compete in the Mrs. World Pageant in Sri Lanka.
“I am honored to represent the great state of New Jersey, and I
hope to use my reign, empowering other women to start their own
businesses and take their existing companies to the next level,” she
stars. Don't be afraid to be an entrepreneur and start your own business.
Look for other accomplished women in business to inspire you
and provide mentorships. Women really need to embrace each other's
triumphs and build a network of support with each other because
when one of us succeeds, we all succeed.”
