ST. PETE RISING
Brian Zucker is the co-founder and
writer of St. Pete Rising, an urban
development blog. He launched an
online fundraiser during COVID, raising
more than $100,000 to purchase
8,586 meals from struggling local
restaurants and deliver them daily to
healthcare workers on the front lines.
I always describe St. Pete as having
a small town vibe with big city amenities.
Despite downtown St. Pete
being the most walkable urban community
in Florida, nearly every café,
coffee shop, and boutique is locally
everywhere.
We have so many world-class museums
in St. Pete, such as The Dalí
Museum and The James Museum,
but do not leave town without visiting
The Imagine Museum, an impressive
three-story gallery featuring major
works of contemporary American
glass artists.
