BUHLER
Founded in 1879, this community
features a downtown area
with locally-owned restaurants
and shops. Just outside of
Nickerson is the most exotic
animal farm you will find in
Kansas. Hedrick Exotic Animal
Farm showcases animals such
as zebras, camels, kangaroos
and giraffes.
NICKERSON
Conveniently located along
the K-96 Corridor between
Wichita and Hutchinson, the
City of Haven offers a small

In July 1883, the families of
Abraham Nisly and Christian
Bontrager got off at the
last stop on the Santa Fe
line in Hutchinson, Kansas

PRETTY PRAIRIE
In 1887, the first salt in this
area was discovered in South
Hutchinson by the town’s
founder, Ben Blanchard.
Salt has continued to be an
important part of the town’s
history. While in town, stop
by to see the Reno County
Veterans Memorial and
experience the small town
atmosphere.
In 1906, A.M. Switzer plotted
the little town of Yoder as a
central point for surrounding
Amish communities. Stroll
down the streets in the
quiet and quaint community
that boasts several unique
and timeless treasures in its
welcoming stores. Yoder
welcomes its visitors to enjoy
the simplicity of the past with
