The short-stemmed Ajwa date-palm at a farm in Madina Munawwara. Citing the benefits of the
Ajwa date, the Prophet a said, “Whoever takes seven ‘Ajwa dates in the morning will not be effected
by magic or poison on that day” (Bukhari), and in Ibn Maja, “The Ajwa dates of ‘Aliya contain healing
effects and they are an antidote if consumed in the early morning.” This Ramadan, open your iftar
with the Sunna of the Ajwa date.
