Refreshing Your
Home and Spirit
ThThis April
We have arrived in the glorious month of April. The word April
loosely translates to “open.” All around, buds and blooms are opening
wide; doors and windows reopen after winter’s shuttering; and
our senses open again with renewed enthusiasm. Even the somewhat
squeamish return of the 17-year cicadas, set to begin arriving
late this month, reminds us that April is full of an unstoppable energy.
People everywhere are freshening up their wardrobes, planning
outdoor activities and entertaining, pouring into garden centers,
scheduling consultations and prepping to tackle the items on their
wish lists.
The Journal is full of that spring spirit too, and so we proudly
present our big Home Improvement Guide. This large directory
to make your home improvement projects go smoothly. From landscaping,
to decorating, technology to maintenance, even getting
your home ready for sale, these experienced vendors have great
advice and suggestions for you, so please connect with them for the
focused attention you deserve.
We also have a big selection of great articles plus our regular
monthly columns that will help you get inspired and start making
your plans for all your projects.
As always, we thank you for making The Journal an important
part of your life. We love hearing your thoughts and seeing your
pictures. This season, be sure to share your before and after photos
as you tackle those home improvement jobs.
As more restrictions get lifted and more businesses open up,
we thank you for supporting our area’s small businesses, restaurants
and charities, who have come through so much to be there for us all
this spring.
We are also working on our Automotive Guide, coming in the
May edition. May’s Journal will additionally include stories about
mother-daughter teams and a primer for the summer season ahead.
If you would like to showcase your business in our guide or in the
pages of The Journal, contact Director of Sales Patrick Collins at 732-
859-4139, and he will take good care of you.
As you begin to reconnect with nature and the world around
you, we ask that you take a few extra minutes to enjoy the show
which only Mother Nature can bring. There are marvels at each turn,
and they are there for your pleasure.
Wishing you good health, good cheer and good results with all
your projects!
