Local High School Athletes Commit to
Collegiate Sports Teams
Fourteen members of the Christian Brothers Academy class of
2021 celebrated their commitments to play college athletics
on April 14. The following CBA senior student-athletes committed
during spring signing period:
• Ethan Beyer – Muhlenberg College, soccer
• Chris DeSousa – Penn State University, cross country/track
• Henry Escandon – Catholic University, baseball
• Colin Farrell – Gettysburg College, basketball
• Adrian Foley – Columbia University, crew
• Joseph Giamanco – Hofstra University, golf
• Joseph Marini – Catholic University, baseball
• Jack Martinek – Stevens Institute of Technology, swimming
• Brendan McHugh – Tufts University, crew
• John Morreale – Stevens Institute of Technology, fencing
• Sam Nini – Davidson College, wrestling
• Colin Stevens – Sacred Heart University, volleyball
“On behalf of the entire CBA community, I would like to congratulate
these young men and their families on their great achievement,” said Director
of Athletics Michael Mazzaccaro. “Through countless hours of hard
work spent on both academics and athletics, these student-athletes have
proven themselves worthy of competing and excelling at the next level.”
These 14 seniors join the 13 classmates who made their college athletic
commitments in the fall of 2020.
