SHE'S A FAN OF
THE PELICANS

The newly retooled New Orleans Pelicans kick off
their regular season in October with mounting
enthusiasm and high expectations. It seems only
fitting that the city’s National Basketball Association franchise
would be the subject of a new song to match the
mounting enthusiasm among the team, players and fans.
Just in time for the new season, Eloise Davis, a popular
local bass player, composer and longtime basketball
lover, is releasing her new original song, “I’m a Fan of the
Pelicans,” under her band name, EloisianaTM. The clever
combination of her name and the state she lives in was
suggested to her by a friend, Remy Lazare.
Eloise penned the song’s music and lyrics to reflect
the team’s winning spirit and she hopes it becomes an
anthem for Pelicans fans, new and old alike.
