Frequently Asked Questions
How do I process my cattle?
There are MACBAN RFID Process Centers close to
you to process and issue your cattle with a unique
RFID number and ear tag.
◆ MACBAN cooperatives should contact their
local cooperate office for the location nearest to
them or call 0909-111-0467.
◆ Regional customers should contact our
dispatch center at 0909-111-0468 or email us at
◆ The process center would insert the bolus in
your cattle safely and issue your cattle with a
unique identification number.
◆ Your cattle profile associated with the
identification number would be established in
the center database. The profile would register
your cattle breed, owner, owner farm location,
weight, state of health, etc.
◆ An Ear Tag with your cattle unique
identification number that matches the
number in the bolus would be inserted at the
ear of your cattle for visual identification.
At what age should my cattle be
processed for identification?
Our Bolus RFID process is safe for cattle after birth;
however, we recommend three (3) months after
birth as cattle is resident in the farm.
