Students in public/ charter schools are asked to submit their essays to their
parochial, non-public or home schools may send their essays directly to Greg
Box 276, Dade City, FL 33526 or via e-mail at ggiordano@pascotaxes.com. If
there are any questions about the contest please contact Giordano at 727-847-

Tax Collector Mike Fasano encourages family members, neighbors and
friends of eligible students to tell Pasco middle-schoolers about the challenge.
Entries will be accepted until 5:00 PM on March 31. Each entry should include
the student’s name, school, grade and contact information. The winner of the
entrant will also be announced via a media release after the winner has been

- Hernando County Emergency Management (EM) will be hosting its annual
Hurricane & Safety Expo on Saturday, May 5, 2018. The Expo will be held at
the Hernando County Fairgrounds located at 6436 Broad Street in Brooksville
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a panel of local TV meteorologists, public
safety displays, SKYWARN® training, vendor tables and fun activities for the
kids.
