NEWS
Vote REALTOR®during
municipal elections to be
held on March 13
ORRA screens then recommends candidates who
express sensitivity to a range of real estate issues
Congrats to Orlando REALTOR® Dale
McDonald, McDonald Realty Advisors, who is
unopposed for Mayor of the City of Maitland
and will be serving a second term in office.
While there will be no race for Maitland’s
mayoral position during municipal elections
on March 13, your vote will be needed to support
ORRA’s recommended candidates for the following public
offices:
Apopka City Council, Mayor – Bryan Nelson
Apopka City Council, Seat 1 – Suzanne Kidd
Apopka City Council, Seat 2 – Diane Velazquez
Ocoee City Commission, District 2 – Rosemary Wilsen
Ocoee City Commission, District 4 – Joel Keller
Winter Park City Council, Mayor – Steve Leary
The REALTOR® organization recommends candidates who
are sensitive to issues related to real estate, homeownership,
and private property rights.
ORRA considers each candidate based on his or her past
voting record and/or sensitivity to real estate issues. Candidates
are invited to participate in a screening process by the
ORRA Candidate Screening Subcommittee, which then makes
candidate recommendations to the ORRA Board of Directors
for final approval.
ORRA-supported candidates who accept political action
committee funds are eligible to receive contributions from the
REALTORS Political Action Committee for use in their campaigns.
For more information about the screening process or about
RPAC, please contact Lindsay Spartz Mason, ORRA director of
government affairs, at lindsaym@orlandorealtors.org.
at 407.513.7282 (M-F;

that deliveries must be made
