in our parish about devotions because
an “evangelizer” burned hundreds of

< Ngirimana - UGANDA > With immense joy and gratitude to
God, we members of the ULRA express
our heartfelt thanksgiving to you for
sending the Sacramentals and prayer
cards. We are thrilled for the printed
materials in Pidgin so our simple people
can understand them. At the same time,
we feel one with the entire world by
being faithful to our daily Decade of
the Rosary. We have come to know the
power of praying the Rosary to fight
against evil and grow in holiness day
by day. The young ones are enthusiastic
to pray the Rosary. Will you kindly send
more Rosaries, Medals and Stations of
the Cross? We will make a conscious
effort to be faithful to pray the Rosary.
<Sr. Vincy George, PAPUA NEW GUINEA>
Greeting from CEBU! I am so happy
to receive the Sacramentals. I actively
serve in my parish here. Every second
Thursday of the month, we visit the
jail and, during one of our visits, I gave
out Rosaries. I give the Rosaries too,
when we go on pilgrimage to a remote
church in the south of Cebu. I shared
the Sacramentals of St. Philomena with
my relatives and parishioners who,
sadly, do not know how to pray the
Rosary. I will constantly be grateful
for the generosity you have shown us.

I received your package in the mail
and it was like Christmas! Thank you
for your letter. I read it over and over
again. I realize, I have discovered a real
gem in St. Philomena! We love the
Youth for Purity Crusade and need
more materials for the Children of
Mary. Please pray for our youth and
women who watch pornography, take
part in black magic, spells and witchcraft.
These are powerful weapons to
kill our children and destroy their
virtue. < John, teacher, UGANDA >
Please be informed that Cecilia’s
funeral was a royal one. The Bishop
hailed her devout life. The Archbishop
of Maseru said that she never tired in
her apostolic work. St. Ann’s group
kept an all night vigil for her soul. The
Bishop, Archbishop, many priests, and
their Majesties the King and Queen of
Lesotho, principal chiefs, seminarians,
senators and various Church militia
groups gave her a send-off that was
befitting a servant of the Church and
