Good Neighbor Awards are your
opportunity to shine in service
One of the elements
that impressed me the
most as I was making
the decision to become
ORRA’s CEO was the
association’s Good
Neighbor Awards program.
It makes me incredibly proud to work
with REALTORS® who have demonstrated
so much care for their communities.
ORLANDO REGIONAL REALTOR® ASSOCIATION
To date, we’ve recognized 21 Orlando
REALTORS® with a Good Neighbor Award
and contributed $16,500 to their charitable
organizations. Now its your turn. Apply for a
Good Neighbor Award!
ORRA’s Good Neighbor Awards, now in
its fourth year, seeks to recognize REALTORS
® who have made an impact on their
local community — or on the national or
world stage — through volunteer work.
Up to 10 finalists will be announced at
a special recognition event, and each will
receive $1,000 grants for their charities. The
winners will also be recognized in Orlando
REALTOR® magazine.
This year’s ORRA Good Neighbor Award
application deadline is 5 pm on Friday,
August 10, 2018. Nominees must be an
ORRA REALTOR® members. REALTORS® may
nominate themselves or may be nominated
by another ORRA REALTOR® member, an
ORRA affiliate member, or the community
organization they serve.
Applications will be available on
orlandorealtors.org in the coming months. I
hope you take the opportunity to apply and
earn both a little recognition for yourself and
a little cash for your favorite organization.
ACE Awards recognize CE hours
New ORRA program honors those who complete 50 and 100 CE hours
CE
Are you a proponent of increasing knowledge and improving
skills through education? ORRA’s newest member recognition
program, the Achievement in Continuing Education (ACE)

Developed by the ORRA Professional Development Committee,
ACE Awards recognize members who exhibit outstanding
commitment to professional development. If you have
completed more than 50 hours or more than 100 hours of continuing education in
your license renewal period, you are invited to apply for an ACE Award.
To be recognized, you will need to submit the required printout of your completed
CE hours for this renewal cycle from DBPR and a copy of your real estate license
along with an application.
